Pet Blanket - The Boss
- This smart blanket will brighten up any pet's bed. At 66 x 61 cm it is best suited for cats or small to medium size dogs (but even the bigger breeds might like it as an extra comfort blanket)

The centre of the blanket is worked in panel of moss stitch approximately 40.5 x 46 cm (16 x 18 inches) and then a 20 cm (8 inch) border in stocking stitch is worked around the edge.
The words The Boss are worked in Swiss Darning (sometimes referred to as Duplicate Stitch) along both sides and then the border is folded in half. This not only encases the back of the embroidery but it also creates a nice firm border to the blanket.
As always the pattern leaflet provides detailed instructions regarding the stitches used.
